| A: Yes. You are more than
welcome to sit in the viewing area and watch the test
being carried out or you can sit in our waiting room
and have a complimentary tea or coffee. |
| |
| Q: If my vehicle
fails the test how many days do I get to repair it without
incurring another test fee? |
| A: If the vehicle is left
on site and repaired within 10 working days then only
a partial retest is needed and there is no partial retest
fee. However, if the vehicle is removed from the testing

working days, although only a partial retest is needed,
a partial retest fee may be charged. |

| Q: My door mirror
is broken, will my vehicle fail the MOT test on this? |
| A: If the off-side (driver
side) door mirror is broken then it will fail the MOT
test. However, if it is the near-side mirror then it
is not a failure item. This rule only applies to vehicles,
which have a usable rear view mirror, so if your vehicle
is a van then both door mirrors must be in working order. |
